Welcome to Gloucestershire Children's Social Care Procedures Manual
Welcome to the latest update of the procedures manual for Gloucestershire Children Services.
In this version over twenty existing procedures have been updated and new chapters added. For a full list and a description of the changes please see the Amendment table below.The Resource Library has also been extensively revised and contains many new, useful practice guides and other helpful information. Remember that when you search within the manual you will also search the Resource Library at the same time.
The Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board Child Protection Procedures can be accessed from the menu at the top of the home page and should be read alongside this manual as they will contain the guidance on a range of topics including Child Sexual Exploitation, Missing Children and FGM.
The Gloucestershire SCB Child Protection Procedures are part of the South West Child Protection Procedures (SWCPP). Additional Guidance from Gloucestershire SCB can also be found on the Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board Website.
